Relines and adjustments

Denture relines and loose denture help.

If your denture feels loose, rubs or has become uncomfortable over time, a reline or adjustment may help restore comfort and stability.

Signs you may need help

  • Your denture moves when speaking or eating
  • Pressure points or sore areas keep returning
  • You rely more heavily on adhesive
  • The fit has changed over time

What a reline does

A reline reshapes the fitting surface of the denture so it sits more closely against your gums. It can be useful when the denture is still suitable but the mouth has changed shape.

When replacement is better

If a denture is very worn, repeatedly breaks or no longer supports your bite and appearance, a replacement denture may be the better long-term option.

Get the fit assessed

We will check the denture, your comfort concerns and the condition of the fit before recommending an adjustment, soft reline, hard reline or replacement.
